ARTZ, Yvonne M.

Age 82, of Greenville, formerly of Gordon, OH, passed away at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Miller in 1999 & by a sister, Lola Conrad. She retired as a special education teacher, serving at Tri Village, Troy & MVCTC. She was a member of 1st UMC in Greenville and she was a renowned baker, specializing in Wedding Cakes. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 19 years, Phil Artz; children, Valerie (Steve) Abney, Pam (Chuck) Ernst, Doug (Wendy) Miller; step-daughters, Cheryl (Berlin) Johnson, Carol Boggs, Cristina (David) Rohrig; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn (Richard) Hemp and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 4-7pm Tue. Jan. 3 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Wed. Jan. 4, also at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Ithaca Cemetery. Donations if desired can be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
