RAY, Stanley Lee

Age 84, of Arcanum, passed away on July 31, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center. Stan was born on March 22, 1941, to the late Ivan & Irene (Shirley) Ray. He owned and operated SRS Engine Parts/Ohio Crankshaft in Greenville, OH. Stan loved drag racing. He owned and raced his drag car and later his son’s Scott and John drove it after Stan quit racing. He was a very generous man, helping anyone who was in need, and sponsored tractor pulls and car shows. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Susan (Combs) Ray; parents, Ivan & Irene Ray and a brother, Dr. Alan Ray. He is survived by his children Scott Ray (Debbie), Sherry Albrecht (Bob), Mindy Dickey (Tim) and John Ray (Polly); grandchildren, Aaron Dickey (Caitlin), Chris D’Aurora (Jessica), Erica Wentworth (Kyle), Liz Daniels, Ryan Dickey (Brandie), Emily Albrecht (Osama Khalil), Jonathan Albrecht and Julianne Albrecht; great-grandchildren, Avery, Eleanor & Macy Wentworth, Beckett & Declan D’Aurora and Acelin Chambers; sister, Mary Jo Trester (Verne).
