JULIEN, Russell C.

Age 69, of Arcanum, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at Miami County Hospice inpatient unit in Troy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Deanne Julien, by his parents, Edward & Effie Mae Julien and by sisters, Twila Wilt & Joyce Julien.

He retired as Body Shop Manager at Troutwine Auto Sales after 48 years of service. He spent 19 years with Arcanum Fire Dept., retiring as Captain. He also loved auto racing and spending time with his grandchildren who were his heart and joy.

Russell is survived by children, Matthew (Michelle) Julien, Leslie (Kevin) Phlipot; grandchildren, Kellen Julien, Josephine Phlipot; sister, Betsy Julien; brother-in-law Charles Wilt; siblings-in-law, Sandra Hepner, Timothy (Theresa) Hall, Joan (Gary) Clark; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Tue. Dec 19 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. Burial to follow at Abbottsville Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5-8 Monday, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.
