SHOPE, Roberta “Bert” (Besecker)

Age 90, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, following a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Besecker in 1987. She loved playing BINGO and reading. Bert is survived by her children, Kim Besecker, Vicki Spurlock, Rudy Besecker, Mark (Cindy) Besecker, Shelley (John) Hogg, Kelly (David) Hileman; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Gene & Dick Ary; special friend, Dee Young and numerous other relatives and friends. At Bert’s request, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304.
