HOOD, Robert “Bob” Lewis

Age 85, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born December 31, 1933 to Robert Lewis and Blanche Hood of New Paris, Ohio. He was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson High School of New Paris, Ohio. For over 60 years Bob has been a local Arcanum farmer growing grain and tobacco. He was a bus driver for Arcanum-Butler school district for 27 years. He married Ruby Dawson, 62 years ago, on August 4, 1956. Bob was a long time resident of Arcanum. He loved farming, fishing, spending time with family, and socializing with friends

Bob is survived by his wife, Ruby Hood; daughter, Rhonda Fonner; his eldest son, Randy Hood and daughter-in-law, Marlenea; son Ryan Hood and daughter-in-law, Amanda. He is also survived by grandchildren, Bryan Arnold, Brock, Bailey and Boen Hood; great-grandson, Nathan Arnold; nephew Ralph Captain and wife Brandy, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2019, 11AM, at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St., Arcanum, OH 45304. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson.
