BRYSON, Robert A.

Age 88, of Arcanum, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton following a brief illness. He was born March 24, 1933 in Darke County to the late Charles “Roscoe” & Lucy (Shade) Bryson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Shirley (Hissong) Bryson & sisters, Esther Mae Hamilton, Mary Catherine Campbell, Jean Hawkey & Gertrude Eileen Bryson. Bob was a 1951 graduate of Arcanum High School and he retired from the Arcanum Post Office, Arcanum Hardware and Farming. Bob was a longtime member of Grace United Methodist Church in Ithaca. He was a loving husband, father & grandfather. He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Bryson; son, Bruce (Carol) Bryson; grandsons, David (Rosie) Bryson & Dean (Megan) Bryson; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, Avery, Ian & Landon; brother-in-law, Dale Hawkey; sister-in-law, Nancy Hissong and numerous other relatives and friends. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304.
