KOCHERSPERGER, Maxine
Age 92, of Union, formerly of Pitsburg, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, by brothers, Ralph, Russ, Robert, Raymond & Marion, sisters, Ruby, Marlene & Dorothy. She graduated from Monroe HS in 1948. She then worked as a telephone operator and eventually owned Lov-Ly beauty shop in West Milton. Later on she drove a school bus for Riverside School in Troy and she retired from the Riverside School Workshop. She was also a longtime member of Eastern Star. She loved making hand-sewn quilts for all her family, traveling & playing cards. Maxine is survived by sons, Greg (Yvonne) Kochersperger, Kim Kochersperger & Mike (Karen) Kochersperger; grandchildren, Engrid (Bryan) McNeil, Liza (Jeff) Curee, Moorea, Summer, Aurora, Sierra, & Hunter Kochersperger & Kelsey Smith; great-grandchildren, Draven Lovell & Charleigh McNeil; great-great-grandson, Declan Lovell; sister, Betty Trump and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1pm Wed. Oct. 26 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304, with burial to follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11-1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Email condolences may be sent by going online to www.kreitzerfuneralhome.com.
