Age 58, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 after a sudden and unexpected fall.

Mark was a kind, generous and gentle person who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was happiest working on our log home or fixing various aircrafts. He loved being outdoors, organic farming, beekeeping, and hiking. Mark was a wonderful man that will be greatly missed all the lives he has touched.

Mark is preceded in death by his son, Nathan McDermott.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Anita McDermott; children, Jorie Mc Dermott, Lindsey McDermott, Lauren McDermott; sister, Tamalette (Edward) Loh; parents, Raymond & Nancy McDermott, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

A Celebration of Life for Mark will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021, 4pm, at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. The family will be receiving guests from 3-4pm on Saturday, leading into the service.
