Age 79, of Piqua, formerly of Arcanum, passed away at the home of her son on Monday, May 27, 2024 while under hospice care. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Kenneth Cates and by sons, Russell Overbeck & Kenny Cates. She is survived by a daughter, Shay Herrman; sons, Robert (Starla) Cates & Donnie Cates; grandchildren, Charles Overbeck & Monica Herrman and by one great-grandchild. At Linda’s request, a private graveside service will be held at Ithaca Cemetery to bury her beside Kenneth. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N.
