Kimberly Kaye (Swank) Jones

SWANK, Kimberly K.

Age 58, formerly of Arcanum, passed away peacefully after a yearlong battle with cancer on December 20, 2018 in Vancouver, WA. She left her earthly home with Scott and her three children by her side. Her battle is now over as she rests in the hands of the Lord.

Kimberly was raised in Arcanum where she attended elementary school. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, she attended Clark College where she completed her Associates Degree. She attended nursing school and became a CNA. Kimberly continued her education last year by graduating Summa Cum Laude from Washington State University with a major in Human Resources and minors in Psychology and Business Administration.

Kimberly was a loving mother who always put others before herself. She was strong, compassionate, and giving. She made any place feel like home and always welcomed you with open arms. Besides being an amazing mother, she was a savvy saver always looking for the best sales. She also had a passion for learning and continuing her education. She loved to cook, looking for ways to add to her collection of recipes. She enjoyed crime shows, when she had time to watch them. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Kimberly is survived by her significant other, Scott Miller; parents, Duane (Harriet) Swank, and Jan (Swallow) Ben; children, Stephen (Kristan) Bartek, Bobby Bartek, Mariah Jones; siblings, Terri (David) Patton, Rick (Daniel Fontella) Bright, Eric Bright; step-sister, Dianna (Chris) Blumenstock; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 step-nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018, 1PM, at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. Burial to follow at Ithaca Cemetery.
