YOUNG, Keith E.

Age 73, of Eaton, OH, passed away on August 22, 2020 at 7:45 p.m. surrounded by his family. He was born the son of Carl Lee Young Jr. & Peggy Jenkins of Xenia, on July 10, 1947. Keith graduated from Xenia High School and after graduation, joined the Navy on March 16, 1968. He was assigned to the USS Fulton. Honorably discharged on May 18, 1970 and spent four years in the reserves. He retired after 30 years from Hobart Brothers in Troy, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years Barbara “Cookie” Young; daughters, Carla (Brian) Collier, Christina (Darryl) Czernicki, Laurie Beardsley and Alishia Young; son, Michael Young; step-children, Tonya (Scott) Blevens, Todd (Kristen) Volz, Jeremy (Sara) Walden; grandchildren, Tausha (Matt), Trisha (BA), Courtney (Josh), Breanna, Christopher C., Christopher B., Torre, Reznor, Chase, Lily, Peyton, Kailynn, Braiden, Alex, Lilly, Carllee, Quinn, Brynn, Astoria; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Ayden and Lianna; brothers, Barry Young, Steven (Linda) Young.

He loved car shows, watching grandkids playing sports and fishing. Frequently you could catch him at the Red Mule with his shot of tequila and a Corona beer.

Services being held at Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304 at 10:30 a.m., on Wed. August 26, with interment to follow in Miami Memorial Gardens, Covington, OH. In lieu of flowers, Keith would love donations to go to Dayton VA Hospice, Lakeside Manor, Building 320, New York Ave., Dayton, OH 45417, or Fisher House, Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428.
