Age 88, formerly of Arcanum, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Hicks, and 2 great-grandchildren, Joey & Mason.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Linda (Donovan) Brown; son, Mark (Leslie) Hicks; grandchildren, Suzanne Hinkle, John (Megan Thomas) Hicks, Andrew (Flo) Hicks, Dr. Elisa (Bill) Picken, Jay (Jennifer) Pease, Jonathan (Amy) Pease; great-grandchildren, Will, Elizabeth, Sarah, Dan, Samuel, Timothy, Eleanor, Aiden, Logan, Madelyn, James, Jillian, Jason, Zachary, Kayla, Laney, Daisy, Andrew; 1 great-great grandchild, Kyro; brother, Harold Collins, and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, 11am, at the St. John Lutheran Church, 7418 State Route 121 North, Greenville, OH 45331. The family will receive guests from 10am-11am Wednesday morning at the church, leading into the services.  Arrangements made in care by Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304.
