HOFFMAN, Jerry
Age 82, of Ithaca, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, in Greenville, following an extended illness.
Jerry spent his working career as an electrician for Dayton Communication Corporation and Buckeye Telephone. Jerry had a passion for trains and has been a long time member of the Dayton N Track Club & the Indiana Live Steamers. He will be missed by all the family and friends he leaves behind.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Hoffman; his parents; son, David Hoffman; step-brother, Mark, and his dog companion, Kooper.
Jerry is survived by his children, Dale (Belinda) Hoffman, Diane (Mike) Rowe, Judi (Phil) Granato, Joan (Stephen) Tobias, Dan (Johnna) Healy; grandchildren, Michael (Megan) Hoffman, Tiffany, Dwain, Kristin Rowe, Josh Rowe, Abby Granato, Chris Tobias, Tana (Eric) May, Heather (Jared) Morris; 9 great-grandchildren (and more on the way); step-brother, Alan; step-sister, Sandy; several brothers/sisters-in-law, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, 12PM (noon), at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304, with a burial to follow at Ithaca Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, at the funeral home, from 10am -12pm, leading into the services.
