DICKEY, James A.

Age 71, of Arcanum, OH, passed away on February 10, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital following a brief illness. Surviving Jim is his mother, Myra Sue (Smith) Dickey; children’s mother Chris; children, Matt Dickey (Jill), Jordan Dickey and Beth Denlinger; grandchildren, Ethan, Logan, Brandon and Megan Dickey and Beau Denlinger; sister, Kathy Cook (Steve); nephew, Michael Cook and several cousins. Jim is preceded in death by his father, James H. Dickey. Jim married Chris (Brubaker) Dickey in February of 1975. They had 3 children. He worked for The Ideal Co. for 40 years and established many friendships and family. Jim was a very neat and organized person whose hobbies and interests included carpentry, woodworking and electronics. He was also a history, film, toy train and slot car racing enthusiast. Visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. on February 14, 2025, at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N.
