DAVISON, Hubert “Dick”

Age 93, of Arcanum, went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2021 following a brief illness at Wayne Hospital.

Dick served our country in the United States Army. He loved our Lord and Savior and has been actively involved with church programs for countless years. He especially enjoyed working with children and helping them grow in the Lord. Dick was blessed to be able to go on numerous missions trips throughout his years. Neighbors and friends may remember him from his joy rides in his FIAT Jolly around town. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by all the lives he has touched.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Nelly Davison, and his siblings, Marie, Dorothy, and Robert.

Dick is survived by his wife of 72 years, Carolyn Davison; daughters, Pamela Small, Beverly (Peter) Fredrick; grandsons, Justin & Tyler Small, Aaron, Benjamin, & Stephen Friedrick; 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, 2:00pm at Immanuel Baptist Church, 500 W. South St., Arcanum, OH. The family will begin receiving guests at the church on Saturday at 12:00pm until 2:00pm, leading into the services.

Arrangements hosted and made in care by Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baptist Children’s Home.
