ANTHONY, Herbert J.

Age 94, of Arcanum, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Norma, 2nd wife, Arlene, son, Daniel Anthony, granddaughter, Jessica Anthony and by 4 siblings, Gene Anthony, Bob Anthony, Doris Wortman & Sharon Anthony. Herb enjoyed a long career in Farming in Darke County. He was a US Army veteran, serving at the very end of WWII. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator with Miller Bros. Construction for many years, and he was a bowling league secretary for 40 years at Timber Lanes in Clayton. Herb is survived by his children, John Anthony, Ruth Ann (Mike) Batchelor & David Anthony; 7 grandchildren; numerous great & great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny Anthony; sisters, Betty Jane Eifinger & Phyllis (Craig) Hindman and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 10-11 am Mon. May 2 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304.
