MERZKE, Gerald D.

Age 89, of Arcanum, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran and he retired from Delco Products as an Automotive Engineer with over 30 years of service. He also was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pitsburg. Gerald is survived by his children, Jennifer (John R.) Spalding, Jay (Tammy) Merzke; grandchildren, Emily Spalding, Aaron Merzke, Melanie Merzke, Holly Merzke, Mariah Moreno, Aliana Merzke; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. To meet with Gerald’s wishes, a private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
