PIGG, George

Age 79, of Gordon, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2022 following an sudden illness.

George was a faithful, devoted Christian. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather with a kind heart and a caring soul. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl (Grace) Pigg; brother, Clinton (and his wife Evelyn) Pigg; sister, Judy Chicoiny, and grandson, Trevor Pigg.

George is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dolores Pigg; son, Kris (Brenda) Pigg; daughter, Andrea (Mark) Patton; grandchildren, Tiffani Lippencott, Morgan (Anthony) Bagnasco, Kelsi (Dustin) Underwood, Schuyler Deshon; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Margaret) Pigg, Vernon (Karen) Pigg, Charles (Janet) Pigg; special bird friend, Uncle Remus, and numerous other relatives, friends, and family in Christ.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022, 2pm - 4pm at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N Main St., Arcanum, OH 45304. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, 3pm, at the Ithaca Open Bible Church, 6711 Cross St., Ithaca, OH 45304.
