Age 88, of Arcanum, OH, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, at Hospice of Miami County in Troy, OH. George is preceded in death by his parents, Galen & Zella (Buhr) Hollinger; and a daughter Pam Boner. He was a member of Fort Jefferson United Methodist Church. He worked for Dayton Power & Light for 30 plus years. He loved John Deere and collected tons of John Deere collectibles over the years. He also loved farming, raising his sheep and showing his sheep at the Great Darke County Fair for over 50 years. George is survived by his wife of 66 years, JoAnn (Hammontree) Hollinger; children, Darla Berger (Mark), Greg Hollinger and Denise Fyffe (Quintin); grandchildren, Holly Besecker, Joshua Hollinger (Jenneca), Mayson Hollinger and Tabitha Boner; great-grandchildren, Kurtis Weaver, Jack, Ethan, Rowan Hollinger, Lucas and Layla.
