LAMBERT, Gary “Doug”

Age 84, of Arcanum, OH, passed away on June 28, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Warner) Lambert; parents, Gerald O. & Ruth E. (Richter) Lambert; and a brother, Eldene Lambert. Doug was the past owner of RJ Warner Ins. Agency. He enjoyed wintering in Florida for over 35 years, watching the Cincinnati Reds play and was an avid golfer and fisherman. His greatest joys in life were attending his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids sporting events and other events they were involved in. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Flatter (Mike), Becky Chrisman (Jerry) and Letitia “Tish” Hocker (Rick); grandchildren, Jennifer Flatter (Bob Bolesic), Shawn Flatter (Shena Back), Kristina Robinson (Matthew), Devin Chrisman, Kylee Hocker and Lakin Dietel (Keith); 11 great-grandkids with twins on the way. A private graveside service will be on Thursday, July 3, 2025; at Abbottsville Cemetery at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Darke County Cancer Association or Abbottsville United Methodist Church.
