SMITH, Gale

Age 71, of Arcanum, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 following an extended illness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William & Marjorie Townsend; infant sister, Anne Irene Townsend, and brother, Terry Townsend.

Gale had a compassion for animals, especially her dog and beloved horse, Caesar. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Gale will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, John D. Smith; children , Rhonda (Randy) Brown, Darren Smith, Kristen (Scott) Adkins, Ty (Jenna) Smith; grandchildren, Grant Brown, Austin (Leah) Brown, Emma (Daniel) Dendler, Isaiah Smith, Noah Smith, Eliza Smith, Blaine Adkins, Callyn Adkins, Evan Smith; sister, Michelle (Paul) Roska and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
