KUHN, Betty Marie

Age 98, of Arcanum, left her earthly life to go to her heavenly reward on Sunday, July 7, 2024. She was born to William H. & Vergie (Hofacker) Paff in Arcanum, OH on March 8, 1926 and lived her entire life in Darke County. She attended Arcanum schools. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Perry Kuhn; brother, Roger Paff; daughter, Marlyn Shellabarger; grandson, Todd Shellabarger & son-in-law, James Dunwoody. She is survived by 4 children, Leora (Emerson) Minnich, Janet Dunwoody; William (Joyce) Kuhn; Eva (Sonny) Custer; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. She is also survived by Janet Weimer who was pianist for the Kuhn Sisters gospel singing group for many years. Betty was a wonderful mother and homemaker who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She retired from Neff Lettering Co. in Greenville in 1985 after 15 years of service. Betty accepted Jesus Christ in her thirties and remained faithful while here on earth and she now awaits all those she loved. She was a member of Greenville Missionary Church. Her family wishes to thank EverHeart Hospice and Ayden Healthcare for their excellent care. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Fri. July 12 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. The funeral, conducted by Pastor Gary Oser will be held 1pm Sat. July 13 at Greenville Missionary Church, located at 1110 N. Broadway St. Greenville, OH 45331.
