BAIRD, Betty

Age 89, of Arcanum, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Baird; parents, Joyce Campbell Sr. and Lucille Campbell (nee. Davenport); siblings, Bobby Campbell, Jean Oakes, Bonnie Horner, Junior Campbell, and Patty Mong. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Candy) Baird; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Betty enjoyed every moment with everyone at family gatherings, birthday parties, showers, and pizza and milkshake night. Betty was very active in the family business: Baird’s Floor Covering & in selling Mary Kay for many years. Betty and Jim enjoyed fishing, square dancing, roller skating, bowling, playing cards, and playing aggravation on a homemade board Jim made. A viewing will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. A celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Arcanum Rescue or the Make a Wish Foundation.
