RIFFELL, Anna Louise

Age 87, of Gordon, OH passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, April 14, 2023, following a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Treva & Raymond Ritz, Sr., by her husband Robert Riffell, by her daughter, Lora Rhodehamel and by a brother, Raymond Ritz, Jr. She was a member of SonRise (Grace) UMC/St. Matthew’s Lutheran in Ithaca and part of the church’s Mission Angels volunteers, who touched many people in need in and around her community. She retired as a sales associate with Sears. She loved sitting on her front porch watching birds. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family, neighbors and church family. Louise is survived by a daughter, Vickie Edmonds (Wayne); son, Doug Riffell (Sharon); 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Ritz (Nancy); sister, Dixie Robbins (Paul) & numerous other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held 12-2 pm Sat. April 22 at SonRise Church, 750 Arcanum-Ithaca Rd. Arcanum, OH 45304. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will be scheduled at the convenience of the family. The family requests that everyone dress casually for the service.
