BOND, Richard Sr.

Age 88, of Bradford, passed away at home peacefully Monday, November 5, 2018 following an extended illness.

Richard was born April 25, 1930 in Lima, Ohio to Lawrence and Madge Bond. He was an electrician for the Local 82 Union for 65 years. Richard served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion OH Post 80.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 52 years, Dorothy L. Bond, and sister, Betty Burchett.

Richard is survived by his sons, Richard L. Bond, Jr., Kevin (Angie) Bond; grandchildren, Kristin (Nick) Phillips, Kyle Bond, Anna (Adam) Radebaugh, Abigail Bond, Allyce Bond, Adam J. Bond, Joshua Warner; great-grandchild, Ellie M. Phillips; several nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 9, 2018, 12PM Noon, at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. A visitation will be held on the 9th from 10AM -12PM leading into the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Miami County.
