RITZ, Raymond Junior

Age 83, of Hollansburg, passed away December 27, 2016 at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.  Raymond is preceded in death by his wife Janet (Busch) Ritz, and granddaughter Elizabeth Null. Over the years Raymond worked for NCR, Crow’s, and Buckeye Feed and Grain. He spent many of his years farming and was a man whom truly loved his family. Raymond is survived by his son David Ritz; daughters Joyce (Wayne) VanTassell, Kathy (John) Daughtery, Treva (Rick) Riffle; grandchildren Michelle (Matt) Pretot, Mark (Grit) Ritz, Morgan (David) Parks, Sarah (John) Carter, Emily (Cesar) Martinez, Gretchen (Richard) Lape, Dan (Sarah) VanTassell, Katrina VanTassell, Chris (Stephanie) Daughtery, Tray and Sierra Riffle; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Ralph (Nancy) Ritz; sister Louise (Bob) Riffell; half-sister Dixie (Paul) Robbins;  and numerous other family and friends.  Funeral services will be held 9:00 AM Saturday, December 31 at Grace United Methodist Church, 732 Arcanum-Ithaca Rd., Ithaca, OH 45304. A visitation will be held 4PM – 8PM Friday, December 30 at Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St., Arcanum, OH 45304. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to State of the Heart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway St., Greenville, OH 45331.
