FELLERS, Peggy Ann

Age 81, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 23, 2017 while at the Brethren Retirement Community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Claribel (Shade) Fellers, by a sister, Mary Esther Wilson, brothers-in-law, Bob Wilson, Ben Mixon & Gene Bixler and great-nephew, Wade Spencer. Peggy was a 1954 graduate of Jackson Twp. High School near Union City, OH (now Mississinawa Valley) where she earned the honor of being Valedictorian. She then began working right away for American Aggregates where she enjoyed a 39 year career prior to retirement. She was a very active member of the East Main Church of Christ, Greenville for 50 years, where she was a pianist both for the church and also for the junior choir. She also served as a volunteer for several organizations in Greenville. She would play piano for special services held by her church at the Darke Co. Home and she also enjoyed serving as a volunteer at the Brethren Retirement Community. She also volunteered alongside her sisters Karolyn & Marilyn for the Adult Literacy Program at Greenville High School. Peggy is survived by siblings, Betty Lou Mixon, Donna Bixler, Jack (Connie) Fellers, Jim (Debbi) Fellers, Karolyn Fellers & Marilyn Fellers, a host of nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces & nephews and her brothers and sisters in Christ. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 AM Wed. Nov. 29 at the East Main Church of Christ, 419 E. Main St. Greenville, OH 45331, with Pastor Jim Morehouse officiating. Private burial will be held at Palestine Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday from 5-7 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either the church, State of the Heart Hospice, or the Brethren Retirement Community. Arrangements are in the care of the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. Email condolences may be sent by going online to www.kreitzerfuneralhome.com
