CARROLL, Johnny Lewis

Age 76, of Ithaca, passed away August 9, 2017 following an extended illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Clemma; sisters, Gerlean Alcorn and Lillian Galloway and brother, Robert Carroll. Johnny retired after 46 years of service at GM and was a member of Masonic Lodge #295. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Carroll; children, John Jr. (Vickie) Carroll, Stephen (Doris) Carroll; Paula Carroll and Gregory (Christine) Carroll; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brother, William Jr., Jerry (Jean) and sister-in-law, Martha. A visitation will be held 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Sunday, August 13, at Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum. Funeral service will be held 10:30 am Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Ithaca Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Alzheimer’s association or State of the Heart Hospice.
