MATHIS, John D.

Age 69, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 following an extended illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fairbanks and Agnus Mathis. John started and ran the Nature-Tech 4H club in Wayne Lakes and was a member of the Darke County Writers Club. John is survived by his wife of 46 years, Deborah Mathis; children, Carey, Jason, and Eric; grandchildren, Gabrielle Gonzales and Daniel Mathis; sister, Peggy Scherer.
