CARROLL-GUNN, Alverta (Peffly)

Age 95, of Pitsburg, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger L. Carroll and by her second husband William H. Gunn. She was also preceded by a daughter Pam Wheeler, by her parents and 2 sisters. Alverta is survived by daughters, Debbie Poe and Cindy (Robert) Scarfo; grandchildren, David & Steven Wheeler and Samantha Scarfo; great-grandson, Owen Wheeler and numerous Gunn relatives in England. She was a member of Ft. Black Eastern Star. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, March 3, at Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304, with burial to follow in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 5-8 PM Thursday, with OES services at 8 PM.
