BRIGHT, Wanda

Age 91, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Village Green Nursing Home, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon in 2001, by a daughter, Sandra Stroupe, great-grandson, Wyatt Farmer, by her parents, Walter & Ola Petry and by 3 brothers. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Castine Church of the Brethren where she served as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher. She was also active in the Women’s Fellowship at the church and was a member of the Darke County Farm Bureau. Wanda is survived by daughters, Linda (Dave) Hollinger, Janet (Tim) Grzegorek and Marilyn (Paul) Morrison; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Vera Regenbogan; brother-in-law, Don Bright and numerous other relatives and friends.  Funeral Services will be held 3 PM Mon. Jan. 16 at Castine Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Gary Cloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Castine Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 1 PM until service time.
