Betty and Family -
Please know that prayers have been raised for you all. I always admired your father for his ability to stand what he thought was right. He was only one of two who stood up for me during my problems there. Unfortunately all three of us were gone the next year. I always thanked him for that. Also, I always appreciated you and Barbara as students. Your work was always excellent and on time. You all are some of my good memories. I considered coming to your gathering today but was concerned that I would run in to some of the bad memories, and I certainly did not want to disrupt this special day. Thanks again and always for such good and lasting memories. Your father was one of the best.

Thanks for your thoughts. Wish you would have come to the celebration. I also had fears of some bad memories showing up but it was a wonderful day.
