WILLIAMS, Joseph E.

Age 83, of Arcanum, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at State of the Heart Hospice in Wayne Hospital, following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Millie & Jake Campbell. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pitsburg, he was a US Army veteran and a member of the Pitsburg Lions Club. Joe is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra; son, Chris; foster sister, Cheryl Campbell; foster brother, Bob (Becky) Campbell; brother-in-law, Darryl (MaryAnn) Mehaffie; numerous nieces and nephews, and the most favorite dog in the world, Coco. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Fri. March 17 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pitsburg, with burial to follow in Mote Cemetery. Visitation will also be held at the church Friday from 12 PM until service time. If desired, the family suggests donations to either Trinity Lutheran Church or State of the Heart Hospice.
