SOWERS, Edna Louise

Age 87, of Arcanum, passed away November 19, 2017 at State of the Heart Hospice. Edna loved cooking, baking, gardening and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brothers, Ned Brown, Albert Brown and Charles Brown and sisters, Viola Bolin, Vera Brunk, Evelyn Steele, Virginia Reed and Mary Sowers and special companion, Kenneth Ricker. She is survived by son, Greg (Sonja) Sowers; daughters, Karen Sowers and close companion Frederic Metthez, Peggy (Dave) McIntosh, Beverly (Danny) Batten and Paula (John) Harding; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Wogoman and brother, Dale Brown. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the State of the Heart Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
